The following clinical trials are currently actively researching the effects of Opioid Growth Factor (OGF) in different disease conditions. For further details, please visit the registry of federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in the United States and around the world at www.ClinicalTrials.gov.

Treatment of Unresectable Hepatocellular Cancer With Opioid Growth Factor

A phase I trial to study the toxicity and pharmacokinetics of OGF in patients suffering from inoperable hepatocellular cancer and cirrhosis.

This study is currently recruiting participants.

Opioid Growth Factor in Treating Patients With Advanced Pancreatic Cancer That Cannot Be Removed By Surgery

A phase II trial into how well OGF works in treating patients with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.

This study is complete but not yet published.

Treatment of Advanced Head and Neck Cancer With Opioid Growth Factor

Study to determine the efficacy of OGF in the treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The study aims to assess treatment of HNSCC patients with OGF infusions and monitor tumor progression and survival, evaluate the quality of life of HNSCC patients receiving OGF and establish the pharmacokinetics of OGF in plasma of HNSCC patients.

This study is currently recruiting participants.

Opioid Growth Factor (OGF) and Gemcitabine: Novel Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer

It is hypothesized that OGF biotherapy may be safely administered in combination with gemcitabine to individuals with unresectable pancreatic cancer. The study includes aims to evaluate the safety and toxicity of the combination of OGF and gemcitabine chemotherapy and study the efficacy of OGF and gemcitabine when used in combination.

This study is currently recruiting participants.
