Dr. Leonard Weinstock, M.D.

President of Specialists in Gastroentrology; Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Weinstock has a clinical teaching appointment as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine. He received a B.A. from the University of Vermont and the medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training and was chief resident in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was performed at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Weinstock is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He teaches at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

He is an investigator at the Sundance Research Center and has participated in many independent and pharmaceutical research studies. His research interests include the role of LDN in treating several medical syndromes, and also the connection between the gut and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) with several medical problems including restless leg syndrome, rosacea, chronic pelvic pain syndromes, complex regional pain syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Dr. Weinstock is an active lecturer, and has published many articles, abstracts, editorials, and book chapters.
