Much Improvement
I started taking LDN January 2021. Started out low dosage, went to 3 mg, with improvement of pain. After three months went to 4.5 mg, and started having vivid dreams and some anxiety. I was taking Sam-e along with it. I wasn't sure if the combo was causing the anxiety. Went back to 3 mg for six months. When time for refill, I went back to 4 mg. Still having vivid dreams. I just requested a refill for 4.5 mg because I am still experiencing some pain and wanted to see if increasing it after taking it for a year would help. However, taking LDN has helped me. I stopped for a few months and pain came back, so I started taking it again and experienced some relief.

Positive Effects
I am taking 4mg nightly for autoimmune Graves and Hashimoto's. Two months in and my thyroid labs are all in normal range. An another positive effect is my allergies have decreased dramatically. Learning more about LDN has been life changing. Very happy to be on this treatment plan. LDN is the only drug I am taking.

Unbelievable Energy!
Shortly after starting LDN my energy level went from sluggish to "Eveready Bunny" level! I've been building and fixing things around the house, and my mood and sleep have improved tremendously. AND NO SIDE EFFECTS! What drug does that?! I'm very happy that I gave this a try; I'm back to my old self!

Improved My Eyesight
During law school in the mid 70's, I noticed my eyesight declining to the point where I needed glasses for near-sightedness. Not overwhelming, but glasses became needed nonetheless. They were also even required for safe driving. The first clue something was changing approximately a year ago was that my prescription sunglasses no longer functioned clearly. Further, I noticed I could actually see better while driving. Dragging my feet, I finally made the appointment for a new eye exam, as a predicate for new sunglasses. In early June, this exam was conducted by a highly efficient doctor, who confirmed an amazing fact. At age 70, my eyesight had actually improved. This was not necessarily a huge surprise as I had for months been able to drive safely, even at night, without my glasses. The doctor had absolutely no explanation for this, nor even any speculation. The only factor I could think of was my taking of 4.5mg LDN for the last 11 plus years. This is not to say conclusively this was responsible for the improvement, but it is the only factor which suggests it is so.

Got my life back with LDN
I am from Denmark and have been a chronic pain patient since 2011 with debilitating nerve pain in both legs - from the lumbar region down to my feet. I had been in bed with a home nurse every single day. In October 2019, my nurse investigated the possibility of my going into a nursing home because there was no improvement. However, on December of 17, 2019 I started LDN (1 mg). Already within the first week, the pain was minimized by 80-100% and I could hardly believe it. The following week, I got out of bed for the first time since 2011. Throughout 2020, I spent time in intensive rehabilitation of pretty much all my functions, as my muscles had shrunk to nothing and my weight was 35 kg. Today I manage 100%, even without help. Now I live a free and physically active life again. I only take LDN, and I have not had any side effects or relapses. My sweet spot is at this time is 3 mg. I have had several significant bonus effects from LDN which I did not have any expectation to. I am very grateful because of getting life back. I am so happy. I hope so much for all people that they have the same experience with LDN as me.

LDN helped me overcome my Graves disease
Two years ago, after suddenly starting to lose weight, developing heart palpitations and tremors, I was diagnosed with Graves disease. My endocrinologist suggested the "standard" treatment, i.e. radioactive iodine ablation of the thyroid, which I declined, so I started receiving anti-thyroid medication (Athyrazol) instead. This treatment somehow successfully controlled the symptoms, but the antibodies which indicate the presence of the disease still remained unchanged, although I followed the gluten&dairy free protocol suggested by a naturopathic health practitioner. After a lot of research on the Internet a few months ago I finally discovered info about LDN treatment for thyroid disorders. Obtaining a low dose naltrexone prescription was quite a procedure, but after I got one and started taking an LDN solution (1.5 ml/day), my health has drastically improved. Presently I need only a minimum dose of anti-thyroid drug (2.5 mg/day) and my antibodies have decreased from previous 30 U/L to 4 U/L in a very short time period, so I reasonably hope to achieve total remission in the near future. And of course, I intend to continue taking LDN even after that to prevent any recurrence of the disease. LDN is a life changer!

Miracle Drug
In September 2019 I started getting terrible pain in my knees and I could hardly walk. This gradually progressed to almost all areas of my body. It was very difficult to walk or get dressed. I have been given many diagnoses from undifferentiated connective tissue disease to fibromyalgia and scleroderma. Basically, I had severe pain in my muscles and joints and also inflammation. I had disrupted sleep for 6 months and I was no longer able to participate in my sporting activities. I was prescribed Plaquenil, Gabapentin, Amitriptoline and Prednisone. None of them worked. I was then prescribed methotrexate and after having researched it, decided that it was too dangerous to take. I did my own research and thankfully found LDN. After 2 days on LDN, I was able to sleep and I gradually improved. It took 5 months to notice a significant difference. I have now been taking it for 8 months and I am almost fully recovered, apart from slight inflammation in my hands. I started off low and slow, beginning at 0.5mg and titrating every 2 weeks. I have now found my sweet spot at 5mg and my life is looking bright again. It has definitely been a miracle drug for me.

LDN for GCA and neuropathy
I am an almost 75 year old woman and have been in good health, strong, good weight, good blood pressure, active, good diet and generally in good health until I was diagnosed with moderate to severe giant cell arteritis (GCA) two years ago. I was put on high doses of prednisone (60 mgs), which they tried to lower as soon as they could, right along with a weekly injection of Actemra, a biologic that is supposedly steroid sparing. This went on for 18 months. However the biologic injection created horrible side effects: from creating collagenous colitis, horrible headaches, body pain, among other issues and heaven knows what else! I went off it against "doctors orders" after 18 months because it I was still having regular flare-ups of GCA and continually going back on prednisone. The doctor was very upset and insisted I had to have it to stay GCA-free, even though, in fact, as I kept telling her I still was not staying GCA-free at all on it! That fell on deaf ears. I decided to go to a functional med doctor in Naples who put me on LDN. At the time of my visit I was also experiencing very bad neuropathy in my left leg and foot from a scuba accident after which I had stage two bends 10 years ago. After months of hyperbaric treatment, I was able to mostly recover from brain damage issues, except that I was left with painful neuropathy in my lower leg and an especially painful foot. Some days it was hard to walk, though I forced myself to do so. I did not mention this to the functional med doctor because it never occurred to me and I was hoping he could help with the GCA, since I went off Actemra. Within 48 hours of taking 3 mgs of LDN, unexpectedly and surprisingly, the neuropathy left me...after 10 hard years of it!! And that was not why I went to the doctor! When I went off LDN 6 months later for a few days before a colonoscopy, the neuropathy started to return. It left again as soon as I started back on LDN. I am now up to 4.5 mgs a day. I have to take it at night because during the day, if I take it, I feel sick to my stomach. Presently, I am down to 2 mgs prednisone a day and planning on weaning off it altogether by the end of March. I am hoping and praying that this will act as a steroid sparing agent in that it will reduce the inflammation and I will be free of both GCA flare ups and neuropathy. It did take me a while to get to a higher dose of LDN and I had to back down to 1.5 mgs, after not tolerating 3mg at the beginning. I also had to have tronches made at our compounding pharmacy, to put under my tongue, to tolerate it and then slowly went back to LDN pills. I have for the last three months gotten to the 4.5 mgs and stayed there. I tolerate it totally as long as I take it at night. If any one needs to interview me I am fine with that. I am a fan of LDN!! Pain Reduction
I have Fibromyalgia with chronic pain, brain fog and fatigue. In 2014, I began taking 4.5 mg of LDN nightly. LDN reduces my pains by around 80% in winter and 90% in summer. It also helps alleviate some of the fatigue. LDN is my miracle drug!
